Barbara Górska has defended her PhD

Barbara Górska has defended her PhD with honors. The work is entitled “Development of electrochemical capacitors based on protic ionic liquids”. The ceremony took place on 27th June 2017 in our Department building. The promoter is prof. François Béguin.

Professor François Béguin granted with TEAM TECH project

The project submitted by Professor François Béguin, entitled “A new generation of high energy hybrid capacitors – HYCAP” has been qualified for funding by Foundation for Polish Science in Poland, for an amount of 3 490 200 PLN.

New paper of our group members in collaboration with Swiss group

Krzysztof Fic, Minglong He, Erik J.Berg, Peter Novak, Elzbieta Frackowiak have published an article entitled Comparative operando study of degradation mechanisms in carbon-based electrochemical capacitors with Li2SO4 and LiNO3 electrolytes in which they use Mass Spectrometer to study the degradation mechanism in electrochemical capacitors.
